Makes sense. You guys have probably not had too cold of a spring. I'm just up north here in MD.

How is this possible? I'm in 7a (Alabama) and I'm just getting ready to plant. Were you in a greenhouse? We just had our last frost 15 days ago.

South facing back porch. I did have to throw a blanket over it about 3 weeks ago when we had a few days in the 40s. 2nd year in a row with cold fronts in April.

Good job. Here in Ontario I'm just starting out seedlings... there are nurseries that cater to us because we can't start them when they should be started :S and sell us well grown plants... I'm envious of your climate :D

what kinda tomatoes? haven't had much luck growing them on my balcony...doesn't get any direct sun until generally after 2pm :(
