I did this last year. Took old plastic bins we weren't using anymore and planted seeds in them. My mistake was not drilling enough holes in my plastic bins and the plants did not get proper drainage.

I drilled a bunch under when I started... but I had the thought that worms in earth in a tub is a lot like fish in water in a tank.... and they both need oxygen somehow... am I right? AIR is the acronym heh
