I finally got everything I've ordered, aside from new front fan. But I've decided its time to rip this whole thing apart and build it from the motherboard up.
I figure ill post updates and pics of my accomplishments and any barriers I encounter.
Started with removing the PSU as I figured I could test that after installation.
Also learned that not all power sources have the same dimensions....
Edit 2 hours ish in. Installed the cpu and cooler into the motherboard, installed the mobo into the case. Reversed the I/O panel on the front to minimize ugle cables.
Dear God, the cables.... those 11 case fans are gonna be the death of me. Hopefully ill be able to cut it down to 7 next week. Also that damn cpu cooler came with like a foot of cable I gotta hide somewhere.
All things considered this is going real well and I may even get to boot tonight.
Yeah I thought I learned my lesson last time. But the new mobo and 3000 series cpu have to be paired to test. That just leaves the cooler that I could have tested before hand.
What do you think of this though https://phuks.co/s/journey/74715 ?
