Today has been a great day. I sold one of those bloody computers. I5-3470, 8GB mem, 500gb HDD, GTX 750 Ti. Here's a benchmark: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/20934781
I probably spent $120 with shipping just to get the base computer to my door. Include an extra $100 for the GTX750 Ti and that's basically the expense of building the computer.
I listed it for $399.99 to begin with, but that didn't seem to get much attention. Dropped it down to $389.99 and it finally sold. Include $25 in the price and that's $415 gross.
The success fee on this cunt was $33. The cost to ship it to the gentleman was $4. Literally $4 for a huge motherphukking box.
That works out to around $378 after fees and shipping. After the original cost that's roughly $160 net. Not a bad return!
Keep in mind all these prices are NZD.
I have two other machines to work on. https://i.imgur.com/MKCqGIX.jpg The little fag on the right cost $120. It has a 120gb SSD, 8GB (I reduced to 6gb), I5-3470. I'll be putting in a GTX 1030 LP into it. It looks like it will be a new little bugger as there's no cheap second-hand 1030's. That's $60 extra. REE
The other queer on the left is 4gb ram, 1TB, but it turns out the CPU is buggered. I'll get a second-hand one in due time. It looks like the one in this machine was overclocked while they cooled with just a stock intel cooler. It's cooked.
I have another one coming in the mail. I'm waiting for the dude to follow me up with the cost of shipping. That cost me $55 NZD for I5-2400?, 4GB ram, 500GB hard drive. If the shipping is cheap enough, I might put a 120gb SSD into it. This will also have a trustee 750 Ti go into it.
I love working on these computers. They're a great deal of fun. They're easy to do. There's good money in them. I'll keep on doing it.
