Came here because I'm getting sick of watching Voat become more and more of a right-wing hugbox every day, but I'm also getting sick of seeing Reddit sell out to people who oppose everything it stood for. I'll probably browse Reddit, Voat, and Phuks concurrently, Voat never really became a Reddit replacement for me (and it's userbase doesn't want it to) and Phuks has yet to "become" anything in terms of it's community. I'm hoping that Phuks can someday replace both websites, or at least become the one I use most frequently.

I was much in the same boat as you - Reddit never became replaced, just used for different things.
I still use Reddit a great deal for more niche things (like lesser-known games), but I use this a great deal too.
