Reddit accused me of being a Chinese secret agent and banned me today. Just so, because I asked a question. That place has gone completely mad with political extremism. As I find little entertainment value in idiocy, I'm now looking for alternatives, places where normal discussions with normal people are still possible. The first recommendation I got was 4chan, but they turned out to be just as insane as Reddit. This place here looks nice, albeit a little dead. Are there any subs you can personally recommend?

Maybe I'm one of those unknowing sleeper agents, who live a perfectly normal middle class life, until one day the phone rings, the voice of a stranger says "蝴蝶餓了", and before they know it, they've built a warp gate to Proxima Centauri b in their basement and summoned the Devourer of Souls to their idyllic and pittoresque small town neighborhood.
