That's one of the few things I liked about Voat - making posts anonymously. I want to post things I do not want tied to my account. I'd love the feature for anon posts or anon subs.
I did see some good anon posts. I think the quality was actually higher than in normal subs.

Seconded for the most part. There were some times where the anon subs were shit too; I would say generally the quality was good. Shit quality has to do with shit users, I would say, so there should be less of that kind of thing here. I think the best way to do it is as @PMYA suggested, with each anon sub (however many there would be) be very specific in its purpose, with strict moderation.

[Me drunk, ignore]
Restrict anons to one sub and make it truly anon, I'd be grateful. I DGAF for general use of it.

I have come to the conclusion that anon subs are a bad idea. Having a fully anonymous site is ok, and having a site where you need an account to post is ok, but having both creates a problem. I am pretty sure that in 1.5 years of using Voat, I did not see one anon post that wasn't shit. People just use it as a place to spam or post shit about other users. The only workaround would be banning catch-all /s/Whatever style anon subs, and only allowing anon subs that have a specific topic and ruleset for posting. /s/AnonGW, for example.
