What do you guys think? It looks less like a fox, but it being a simple graph fascinated me. I wanted to get the old logo on mug or t-shirt.
Can you weight in with your opinion?

I feel bad because somebody (probably /u/polsaker) spent time to rework the logo and now I am here criticizing it without accomplishing anything.
But I feel the need to put forth my opinion. Marketing is important for our success!
We're originally from /v/modernpowers we live on critisism and wouldn't want it any other way!
We see it more as a form of caring to improve then hurtfull, as this is way more productive then circlejerking! We need critical users not yes men so we'll happily take all you can offer!

I liked the old one better to but the thing is; the other was taken from shutterstock, changed a bit and not OC. We would have to buy a license to use it. The new one is OC by @polsaker and we can freely use it on site and merch.
We are very open to anyone creative to offer us alternatives. We are also contemplating setting up a logo design contest when we grow bigger to have multiple options for merch and site promo's.
Yeah, this changes the situation a bit. Would the cost be one-time investment of $200?
unfortunately no. they currently own the old one and the commercial license only allows for merch, logos, physical printing.. so on.. In order to claim it properly we would need to pay a undisclosed amount more than that(already sent a msg) and could take weeks to transfer properly.
$200 is an amazing amount since were running under $30 a month right now for everything including domains, hosting, cloudflare, testsite, bug reporting site, so on... With the new logo we could make stuff and keep it in house. We can also request merch from outside vendors that can ship all over the world and handle wiretransfers/CC without giving someone their "cut" because they made some logo 9 months ago
we grabbed the old logo from shutterstock 5 months ago.. little did we realize that it would cost $200 just to use it on stickers/tshirts/merch, and even more to claim fully as corporate(llc) logo. so we made our own :D
