There are not enough conversations going on in comment sections. If there was a link that showed the latest comments, perhaps that would facilitate more conversations.

A 'sort by number of comments' option has been requested in past.
I think that would help with this.
I think a way to see which posts have new comments would also help. I camp out in new, so I sometimes miss conversations that happen later in a posts life.
