When someone comments to a reply or submission and I check it in my mailbox it would nice to be able to upvote from that page instead of having to go to the thread and upvote from there.

Appreciate the admins on this site and the open dialogue you've created here.

Great request. I thought about this too and often wondered why it wasn't an option, but was too lazy to ask. It does get to be a pain when you just want to up vote someone's comment, but not necessarily comment yourself, to have to go to the thread to do so.

Great! Now we need somebody brave enough to post that feature request somewhere and maybe poke @pembo210

I want a feature! Pick my subs!

[–] Polsaker 1 points (+1|-0)

Pick your subs for what?

I miss read the context of the word feature. I was referring to having subs "featured" on the front page.

See, now there's another problem. The only way to post a feature request is to give them your name and email ... now unless I make up a fake one (what's the point), I'm not going to do that. So I can't file a report.

unfortunately that's what the code manager thingy requires. The email is for password recovery and the name is for assigning tasks in the system. Feel free to enter fake info if you wish to use it. It's made to run internally in a company, so there's not a real anon mode.

We host our own stuff using phab because github and all the other services could basically cancel us at any time for any erroneous rule they could say we broke, then we would lose all the code history and tasks. Plus that company would also have access to all phuks users that happen to participate in the dev process. Phab also allows us to keep track of administrator info, company docs, and access to sensitive accounts that we need to access to run phuks.

Cool. It just always bugs me that they want that info, otherwise you can't report anything.

But if I recall correctly the real name field is optional, isn't it? And you can't say that giving out an email is doxing yourself, you can always use a throwaway email or get a cock.li account.

Sorry, I just checked and you are correct ... email address is 'required' and it doesn't show the user name as such. My mistake. I hate it when I'm wrong - LOL - but it is what it is.

Well I'll take care of it this time. @pembo210 and @polsaker already have dirt on me, so it won't matter if I give them that info. :p

LOL - I just always wondered why they want us to dox ourselves to report something. Why not just have a /s/phuksdev like everyone else does. But hey, no biggie. Whatever works for them ... their platform.

I've also thought this and would like to see it implemented.
