not that many subs but might also require the devs to delete the abandoned ones... could be neat to see new subs once and again randomly
edit: marketing wise Foxhole is a good pun to work on because phuks traffic is predominantly American. Fox Trot is in NATO phonetic alphabet so that's another thing we could use as a pun catering the dominant crowd.
cool! and @polsaker reminded me again that subs can't be deleted so sorting based on some popularity metric is a good alternative... I was going to suggest a manual list of subs before random gen but you've got a much better system indeed.

I've never much cared for visiting a random sub; if I am looking for novelty then one subject at a time feels too slow.
It'd kinda like to see a sort of frontpage populated by random subs that I am not subscribed to.
we have "go to random .." on the sidebar. it scans all and picks one at random (non-nsfw currently)
edit: we got the new /subs figured out this week, some new sorts coming where you can sort by subscriber count, post count, comment count.. so on
a fun name or theme would help, "random" is just so normal at this point.
