going along with @InnocentBystander 's idea that creating an oppositional goal isn't favourable for marketing, however a self identity that is simplistic would be a good Slogan. Also A statement somewhere that says that this site does not encourage alts would be just silent goodness that could matter along the road.... my final Idea is that we have quarterly polls, implementing polls would be really interesting. at the point the site isn't huge, but it would be very cool to see how we vote for best sub, best post, and what not. and if it's only quarterly there's plenty of time in between to figure out bugs without too much pressure.

I can identify with being simple. :)

I like the idea of polls. It's something that has been shoehorned into other forums, but never integrated well.
Maybe the devs here can do something with it?
We do seem to be at a good size, with an involved community, to test out some new ideas.

So that fits right? because it doesn't shoo out other users based on their identity, it draws them in because ours is actually different... right? it's those semantics you kept me thinking about... can't be oppositional, so have to be different and proud.
