Is that really necessary?
By a limit to comment length, I mean a huge limit. The sort of limit that you would not reach very often.
I think I hit Voat's post/comment limit 2-3 times in 18 months.
If there is no cap, it would be very easy to abuse it by spamming massive comments on a post.
Also we are still running on potato servers I think, so better safe than sorry.

Why do you think there should be a limit to comment length? I'd like to hear your reasoning.
The only thing I can think of is large spammy-type posts, but then, isn't that why moderators exist?
