that sounds scary and all but isnt really factual. the fbi has said repeatedly that it doesnt give a shit about the instagram tourists and legitimate protesters. the likelihood they opened a case on everyone there is very low but any who made threatening comments online before hand might have reason to worry for their 2nd amendment rights. try not to allow yourself to be fearmongered.

If you were not charged with anything, not convicted of anything, but were for some reason looked at by the FBI then cannot purchase a firearm and a federal court may suddenly decide "yeah you know what arrest this guy".
If you simply were at the Capitol on January 6th, you probably have been "investigated" for "terrorism" and would lose your 2nd amendment rights.
