Just the latest in a new line of back packing guns and such. I don't need on myself. A decent, trustworthy .22 isn't very heavy and bulky in the first place.

I'm partial to my Marlin 60. It drives nails. I recently took the scope off it. It's more fun to shoot without it, and it's still a laser beam.

My favorite is an old tried and true Ruger 10/22. I've never been a scope guy and have always done alright with iron sights.

Not a very impressive grouping. Especially at 25 yards.
Not a big fan of these take downs. The price is too high for what they are, especially on the Ruger.
