From what I see it can be fired once the barrel is folded out and locked in place. But without the barrel locked outward ... no, you couldn't fire it completely folded.

i know nothing about guns but im curious if that thing is possible to shoot while still folded and if a kinda hybrid uzi/rifle exists. if there's ever apocalyptic chaos, that's what i'd want.
