Having a discussion here and can't figure out the answer to this question.
Balancing a bladed weapon is integral part of the process.
I know that balancing a rifle or pistol is a consideration, especially as it's ideal to be weighted towards the barrel to minimize recoil. But exactly how entwined with the design process is the center of gravity?
I'd say close to the same except with a knife you're only using one hand, so maybe it's physically more important.
