Certainly not wrong. I've inherited certain automatics and probably more than I should have. For home defense my gas operated remington is certainly the only thing I'd grab.

What if I don't want to get out of bed though? Seems so much easier to just dump a mag of 308 through the walls, go back to sleep, and clean up the mess in the morning, lol.
