The batter was purposefully standing in the way so that the guy could steal third.
Dude was just given a strike (maybe ball, but it looks good to me from this angle), why would he have moved here? If he was struck out, sure, but if it's a simple strike he'd just wait for the next pitch, correct?

Cool thanks interesting play I've never seen. Dick play but also kind of cool if you don't mind a gut or nut shot. I imagine there wasn't any penalty or ejection for for the catcher?

I used to play third base for a City team... The batter was purposefully standing in the way so that the guy could steal third. He stalls after the pitch. The coaches give the hand signs and coordinated that and the back catcher got pissed and pretended he was throwing to third with full intention of punching that fucker. It's the equivalent of a goaltender in hockey slashing someone in his crease
