Goodbye what's left of Activision. Microsoft is turning into the next EA.
Honestly the big titles all kinda suck now. Far Cry 6 wasn't all that great, Death Stranding (which is indie I guess as it's from a designer who started his own studio) was fucking awful (your big studio can tell you when you're making a terrible game), Final Fantasy 7 Remake was ... long, Fire Emblem Three Kingdoms was long and unoriginal
The best titles I've playing the past few years have all been indie titles: Hotline Miami, Gris, Spiritfarera, FAR Lone Sail, Bastion (although it had a big distributor), Lithium City and others.
Indie games are really where it's at, and a better use of your money.
