Not sure how many of you are aware, but the Quake mapping scene is alive and well. I'd dare say better than ever. I've started playing through this pack and it's incredible. There's an awful lot of artists in the scene right now, that's for sure.
All you need is a full version of Quake (shareware may or may not suffice), Quakespasm engine (Win/Mac/Linux), and this pack.
