Blizzard, no one is going to play or not play your game because of this. This is clear pandering to the SJWs who review games.

"Ha, ha you've been playing as gay character all along" seems like high school drama to me. Thank god we have the great intellects like this to educate everyone.

Feminists use this to their own ends. It's not like an actual gay person would care at all (or like they couldn't pay the game otherwise).

If not forced I would be fine with a gay character though of course ... gay people do exist.

Also if it were an Asian game played mostly by Koreans I don't think they'd be working so hard to let the poor ignorant koreans see more whites or blacks or hispanics, or think that it was wrong that the demographic who played the game was Korean.....

I don't get why defining character classes sexual orientation is so important. This is not an RPG, there is no actual gain from knowing this. The experience is not enriched, as a result.

This is just dumb pandering to people that won't buy the game.

Why do you lot get so upset about this?

I just read the other two comments besides mine and neither of them seems like they are upset and there are no downvotes on this. What makes you think people are upset?

All the comments seem defensive. I'm curious why the sexuality of video game characters would cause this?

I can't speak for the others but my comment was an eye roll. The whole 'Alt Right' versus SJW thing is pretty laughable on both sides and that a grown man is changing a character to score some points against some other group just strikes me as really funny in a pathetic way.

I'm not really upset more than annoyed at the direction these studios are taking to appease game reviewers, who are pushing for SJW 'inclusiveness'. Satisfying the game reviewers is becoming paramount to producing gaming content the players want.

This video covers the topic well.
