Booo I hated Dr Mario. The only match 3 kind of game I like is columns on Genesis, it definitely has that same quality that makes Tetris so addictive.
Funnily enough I was watching something last night that mentioned the sales of different Tetris releases and the controversy surrounding Atari releasing the Tengen version for NES. Atari sold 150k copies before Nintendo sued them and they destroyed the games they had left. Nintendo sold 5 million for NES, but 35 million copies of Tetris shipped with the Gameboy.
Kind of makes you understand why they started bundling in Wii sports and stuff with later consoles.

There was never a better version of tetris than the one that shipped with the game boy.
