That's what I'm thinking and this new shiny RTX they are pushing now takes even more. Devs are struggling to get it to run at 1080p 60fps. My next upgrade is going to be cheap is all I know. My 970 is still keeping me at 60 fps without sacrificing anything I care about.

I have a 4k monitor. Is it better? Yes, a little. It's better for Photoshop and that sort of work, but for gaming it's not remarkably better, and takes a lot of power to push those pixels through the card.
