Oh I never knew pinball emulation was a thing! Damn, when did Windows stop including its version of pinball?

I don't know, but I used to like the Windows pinball myself.

Turns out Windows didn't support it after XP, because the one guy who coded it didn't leave any comments and it was all obfuscated. When they went to port the OS over to Vista, there was some game breaking bug where the ball would fall through the screen. They could never fix it lol.

Interesting. I recall playing it back when, and it was fun ... but before seeing this article I'd forgotten all about it. Thanks for the info. Makes sense.

I twist my monitor to portrait mode and play away. Those tables on Pinball Arcade, though, they're awfully expensive not on sale.
