X is mine, by the way.
VII is great for one disc, then goes somewhat off the rails in disc 2, although it at least does keep up with the themes of "self" that are played with in the first disc. I remember 7 a lot, but I thought it could've been much better.

Incidentally, BB is easiest most of the time with low stats. Just swim at the defenders with Tidus/Wakka, Jecht Shot some fools (or Wakka's Venom shot), and let the goals roll in. The only exception is the Al Bhed Psychs, who are actually the best team by far early on in BB. Nimrook is a killer goalie for like 40+ levels, with the right techs already learned, and all their position players have good stats in the right areas.
I did beat Kilika 14-0 one time. Basically just swim forward with wedge, absorb their shitty defender's tackles, then shoot through their awful goalie. Easy.
one got scratched... so I rented it from blockbuster and switched the disc... they never noticed (they have a resurfacer, I don't) and so I bought a second to make sure... it's actually my all time favourite... I really like the story and characters... more than even FF7... but I'm weird
