I got Road Rash 3 for Sega off Ebay but it seemed expensive (95 bucks with the original case and artwork)... I want to buy some serious shit for N64 and some good SNES games I know and love... anyone know more than me about where to buy? (I'm in Canada but don't mind shipping if it offsets cost)

Thrift stores and pawn stores still seem to have these.

I've frequented these. They have some titles but they charge a shitstorm for things I already have.. they want over 100 for my ps1 Lunar - Silver Star Story... I didn't know it was worth that much to these guys

Then I'm out of ideas but have you played mega man legends 1 and 2 for ps1? If not could not recommend them more. You could talk to u/innocentbystandard as it seems he has a ton in storage.

you have to use the @ sign when poking another user here. but yea, I'd be down. I like the older graphics, if anything since ps3 I've started reverting into the better older plots and ideas

They're expensive as fuck. Don't buy online or from shops, you need to find some kind of garage sale or something. Even GameCube games are like £30 sometimes.

I KNOW!!! I got my snes with Mario from a garage sale, my last room mate stole the fucking game though. The system still had a box... that shit would be way more than 20 bucks online

The only shop I know near me charges $150 for a copy of OOT. My brother bought literally a grocery bag full of N64 games on eBay for $60, which had a few good games like Perfect Dark and Battletanks. If you want more obscure titles, shops can be ok, but they gouge the fuck out of you for the popular ones.

I'd offer to sell you some, but no way in hell I'm parting with my genesis games. I'll see if my brother is attached to the N64

I go to This Shop.
There's probably one similar in your area. Every city I've lived in has had one.

that seems like the place I go to in China town down on Spadina in Toronto. They aren't around here at all. But I know prices and these places exaggerate sometimes... I'm looking more for an online avenue that doesn't fuck you over with rebuilt copies and shit which is becoming normal on Ebay for retro gaming suckers

edit: don't get me wrong, if I lived near you I'd be there once a week

It's not a high volume business, high markup is required to keep the doors open.
Most of my 'retro' stuff was cutting edge when I bought it :)

that'd be the way to do it. Actually cheaper than my endeavour... unless you include new ps4 titles... which make me laugh

wanna sell me a copy of Alisia Dragoon for 100 bucks? hehehe
