Fuck Dark Link.
Seriously. Except for Dark Link I am 100% certain I could finish Ocarina of Time with three hearts only, no fairies in a bottle. Dark Link has always given me the hardest time. The only semi-reliable strategy I have gotten is to basically walk into his range, letting him swing at me, and swing at the same time, ensuring we hit each other. Repeat until one of us dies, and keep three bottles of fairies handy just in case.
