MRE's used to have salted crackers but for some reason they stopped making them a while ago.
Not only the flameless heaters, but let them try out the entire MRE. Not the coffee or energy drink mixes, but at least the accessory packs and all the sides that come with one. I bet they would have a blast opening and preparing one.
On the next family camping trip I plan on picking up some MRE's and have the whole family try them out.

Many of the new meals are very good. They need to work on the fucking crackers. They don't have salt on them for fucks sake.
They should have let the kids use the flameless heaters too. Bet more of them would have been interested.
