I'm an American, and I find it hard to believe that an UK citizen wouldn't recognize Welsh.

Yes, but in the UK there is far more exposure to the Welsh language. But I don't honestly know, it just seems like a bullshit story to me.

It's a blatant repost so could be made up, doesnt matter anyway.

There are only 3 million welsh and i bet even fewer actually still actively speak Welsh. On the other hand there are 53 million English, so odds are you never heard it.

Well the Welsh can piss off as well. And the Scottish. And the Irish. And the Southerners. And the Scousers. And the Mancunians. And the Geordies. We all know there is one superior dialect on these isles.
