they focus on hate the way reddit focuses on left wing ideology... they're both hive minds... too bad there isn't a good middle ground. I honestly can't stand reddit comments though, way too pussy filled cream puff for me... almost like the same 3-5 people are paid to write it all (the comments that is)
I can't stand one sided. People should be able to argue their opinion without a million down votes... the problem goes all the way around. Reddit and Voat suffer from the same beast, just with a different face. I can't say I'm all right or all left... that's just dumbing down opinion since we can all formulate our own opinion on different topics. I don't vote based on who's right or left, I pick what I think is the better of the two and hopefully more candidates. Polarizing everything makes people choose sides... I think that's the biggest problem with the hive minds
That's what makes Voat unique, it's s safe space for hate subs. The level of paranoia makes it interesting but it's a toxic environment.
