Please report any bugs on the tracker. If you are over level 22 you should see a box to upload files when creating a link post, you can use either that or the good ol' link field (but that last one will create a normal post, it **won't** re-host the image). If you don't see it.. maybe I forgot about you, I enabled this manually for each user.
