I had to wait about one year to have a new locally owned company run fiber to my home. There are no data caps, no setup charges. Speeds wired directly into the router are 250mbps up and down. After passing through a couple of gigabit switches speeds are 96Mbps in both directions. That's still excellent.

Not surprising.
They must expect an increase in bw demand.
