Sounds plausible... but I don't think the link to taxing the rich is clear.

It was just a statistic I learned recently that seemed relevant.

The income disparity has become grossly out of balance. When a CEO makes hundreds of millions while paying their grunts minimum wage, that's just kind of fucked.
