Saturday afternoon, after years of struggling since the broccoli revolution, our people have finally managed to deal a crushing blow to the savag-- *to the cabbage people*, when @Polsaker used his admin sorcery to raid their sub. All these years I'd dreamed of the day we managed to break through the line and cross into their soil. I'd dreamed of the day that we could humiliate their society and ransack their populations like they did to us for DECADES! But I was not on the front lines of the battle. I showed up long after the initial blitzkrieg and was tasked with keeping a foothold on the sub before we got kicked out again. I was there when the rubble stopped smoldering and the panicked and evacuated people returned to start recovering bodies. Is this how we're fighting for freedom? Is this our way of restoring dignity to our people? The people in the homeland are still poor, practically starving, uneducated and terrified. It was supposed to get better for everyone after the war but what are we getting by bombing civilians?! What are we getting by poisoning crops, and blowing up schools and hospitals? This damned war isn't any good for anyone except the broccoli elites that have lied to all of us! It's only now beginning to sink in how much of a fool I was. I am a war criminal. We all are war criminals. The blood of innocents is on our hands, and as long as this war is allowed to continue, the suffering of all brassicas will go on. Broccoli, Cabbage, Sprouts, everyone suffers. I know that even vegetable Jesus won't forgive me for what I have done. But I still have a responsibility to do right by the world in what time I have left. I, Mattvision, hereby announce my official treason against Big Broccoli, and the Broccoli Empire as a whole. I will dedicate the rest of my natural life to ending the Broccoli - Cabbage war. May vegetable-God have mercy on all of us.
