As you know, I work in a grocery store, and I am constantly in close proximity to our most beloved vegetable, as well as the vile disgusting garbage cabbages.
Normally, I am able to laugh at how slowly we sell cabbages. I only need to throw about one case of cabbages every few days, and that's able to keep our entire display full, while Broccoli on the other hand, I can eliminate 8 cases of the stuff on a slow day.
But lately, while Broccoli sales haven't slowed down at all, cabbage sales seem to have increased. I had to unload two whole cases in two days. That is not normal.
And yet we haven't seen any increases in Brussels sprouts, Cauliflower, Kale, Kohlrabi, or Broccoli. Just cabbage.
Are people really becoming more accustomed to the evil bud, or is this just some kind of temporary aberration?
Please! I need someone to tell me that I don't need to worry about this!
