I Remember Ursula K. LeGuinn being a favorite author when I was a teenager, but I was so young and I used to binge-read to escape the very unpleasant reality of my existence. I can't remember a favorite or even a single title. It was all a blur of escapism.
edit: incidentally, I don't recall two n's in the name. But, it was the 70s.
edit2: okay, I went looking and I definitely remember The Lathe of Heaven. It was quite engaging to me at the time. A mind-bender about a world-bending mind.
