First up was an african looking guy outside the library on a seat. I made eye contact with him and smiled and asked him what he was doing. He said he was selling magazines and wanted to know why I spoke to him. I showed him the book in my hands and he tapped his nose and said I was a clever man. All up that conversation lasted 15 minutes.

Next up was a policeman who was standing beside someone's car writing something down. I asked him what he was doing and he said it was none of my business. Then he told me to move along. I wished him a nice day and he frowned at me. - 1 minute.

Next was a woman at the bus stop around my age. She initiated the convo this time complaining about the bus being late and how hot and sticky it was. I asked her if she caught the buses a lot and she told me how she lost her license and had no choice. - 5 minutes and her bus came.

Same bus stop and an older lady this time who warned me about "young girls" at the bus stop. She had been listening in and told me that the young girl sounded like trouble. I agreed that she probably had a lot on her plate and seemed a bit high maintenance. - 5-10 minutes and my bus came.

All in all it was a pretty good experience. The first few chapters of the book talked about making eye contact, smiling and being focused on what the person was saying. Also it stressed to always be honest and don't just agree for the sake of it.

Plus you get that wonderful realization that nothing bad happens. If you want to approach an attractive woman, or step up for some other opportunity that's happening nearby, it'll seem natural and easy.

Last time I talked to a girl a bus stop she was a hooker. I'm riding my bike around at night, she calls me over and asks if I want a "date". lmao.

That reminds me of the time I accidentally picked up a prostitute a few years back.

I just dropped my wife off at work with my daughter (daycare) around 7am and was headed to work myself on the opposite side of town as we only had one car at the time. I had plenty of time before I had to be there, I was in no hurry. I stopped at a stop light and a young black woman was yelling to get my attention on the sidewalk. The windows in my car at the time didn't go down, so I reached over and popped the door so I could talk to her. She asks if she can get a ride... okay, sure, I got time.

She gets in, starts telling me a story about how she needs to pay a loan shark--fuck, here we go. I'm nodding and smiling and "yeah"-ing, then she asks if she could make some money off of me, I simply reply "nope" but I'm still committed to giving her a ride. She tells me to take the turn immediately in front of me, we get a block up and she says to stop there. She opens and runs as I'm stopping and at that point I realize I left my phone and wallet on that seat before she got in. I reached under her butt real quick to make sure I had them still and she bolted.

That was a weird fucking morning.

I'm sure nothing bad will ever happen to you. You'll never meet a guy like Ted Bundy and you'll never meet a woman like Aileen Wuornos. While you're at it, why not try sticking your dick into a furnace too ... okay, obviously there aren't many guys like Bundy and not many women like Wuornos ... and even not all furnaces are lit and active ... BUT there ARE some men and women and furnaces that are horribly dangerous, and if you keep up this idiot Pollyanna behavior then sooner or later you're going to be very sorry.
