As I closed the book I felt a disquiet that I can't put into words. Most books I put down and that is it. I will forget them. This one will linger.
Can you even imagine how hard that would have been to write? I like the message that ultimately nothing any of the new or gods did mattered because they would be forgotten and bare no permanent relevance to humans.

You're right. It did come off with a decent message. But I still felt disappointed that the entire book was this lead up to a gigantic showdown. Which never really ended up happening.

Great book, although I found the ending quite anti climactic.
