I'm reading American Gods at the moment. I am not sure how if I like it or not but only 100 pages in. Then I have some Dragon books, a crusades book, and several others. I used to be able to read a book every few days but now I am lucky if it is one a month! Just curious what you all are reading.

Reading a book called Titans about an 2000 plus year old immortal and and AI who set out to take down the corrupt corporation who made illegal AI's, among other devilish things. It's slow going but an interesting book.

What's slowed down your reading?

That sounds damn interesting! Immortality is a curse I wouldn't wish on many. What is it called? Not really sure what slowed my reading down other than general loss of interest in most aspects of life.

Yeah, life is beautiful but can really suck a big black dick at times.

The book is called Titans. I need to read it more often than I am.

Let's have a contest to see whose' life sucks the biggest, blackest dick. :p

Been a while since I really sat down and read a book.

Last two I read were around Christmas and January, they were You have the Right to Remain Innocent (a book I heartily recommend for all Americans) and Harrington on Hold 'Em.

I'll put it on the bucket list! Been roughed up by the police once and that was more than enough.

Oh yeah, you have my sympathy. You'll know how important that book is more than most of us then.

I'm in the middle of 3 books that I probably will have to reread because I haven't picked them up in a couple of weeks. I was reading Kafka On The Shore by Haruki Murakami, Storm Of Steel by Ernst Junger - which I have read before, and would recommend even if you aren't interested in WW1 - and Anna Karenina by Tolstoy.

I am reading "We are legion, we are Bob." It is about a guy who signs contract to get frozen after his death because maybe future science will be able to reanimate him.

He wakes up to a world where US is a crazy theocracy that discarded his human status and want to use him as a slave in charge of unmanned probe to set up interstellar base.

It is fun,

I'm currently reading a chess book, Move First, Think Later by Willy Hendriks. If you play chess, I think it's a great book. If you don't play, the core concept of the book is worth knowing.

I don't read much fiction these days.

It's funny. I find the real world to be horrible enough. Fiction is escape. What is the appeal of non fiction for you.

The non-fiction I read is usually driven by a work or hobby project, and I enjoy learning something new that I can use.

Now that I've thought about it, the last novel I read was Based on a True Story by Norm Macdonald. It had a couple of parts that really impressed me and overall I enjoyed it. If you admire Norm's stand-up work I'd recommend it.
