iirc arleigh burkes' better armament and zumwalt's poor aegis capability made the decision. zumwalt is more likely to take on a land support or covert ops role now.

It seemed like a very versatile platform. I'm sure they will find a use for them. The cost however is staggering.

I'm probably behind on my destroyer news. I didn't realize the Zumwalt wasn't the future any more.
