Beekeeping is an admirable hobby and one more people should explore. With the growing population of urban farmers and city chickens I hope people consider adding a hive to their yard.

Beekeeping is something I've always wanted to do but simply can't afford. I used to go to this little local hardware store that sold huge mason jars of this really dark honey with big chunks of comb. Often there was still larvae and other stuff in the comb- it was unbelievably delicious. We also used to buy sourwood honey- another fantastic honey.
