Between this and the spy swap, it looks like someone is making some bigger picture deals in the background. Russia wouldn't have made these deals if someone hadn't gotten the upper hand on them.
I was almost excited thinking Russia might return the Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine's only submarine that was captured in Crimea. Russia tried updating it but deemed it unfit for service in the black fleet and put it in a museum, which was kind of a big 'fuck you' to Ukraine.
