How's your day today?
I've kinda hijacked this thread. But, did you feel forced to pay a lot more then you thought you would? For accessories and additional memory card ect? Heard worries about the screen scratching with the dock. Do you feel like thats a concern? Or just people not being careful when docking?
At first I felt robbed because the default joycons were constantly causing me to walk off of cliffs because of input lag. I tried buying a pro controller, but everywhere within 30ish miles was sold out. Turns out that it's a huge problem with the left joycon, and moving the docked switch from behind my TV to in front of it fixed all of those issues....sad.
Anyways, I haven't bought a memory card or a new controller, completely playable without, but again, in only own one game. The dock is actually really well done and has no chance of scratching the screen. I had to actually look up online how to dock because I didn't believe that it was actually docked...very well done.
My main concern is "how long will the joycons last when I have to keep docking and undocking them every time I use the console". They're still a snug fit into the Switch and I treat them like an egg. I assume they'll hold up for a long time because Nintendo wouldn't ship something that wouldn't, right?
I got it for the Switch. So far, the Switch has been better than I expected, but there is literally nothing else I want to play on it besides Zelda. There is a very small launch game library, and the console itself didn't even come with a game. I'm guessing my second game will be Mario Kart at the end of April.
Cool console, cool concept, nothing to play outside of Zelda.
Edit: I'm like 50 hours into Zeros and not even half way through the main quest. You could probably beat it in 20, but there is just so much to do and explore.
