The chances of me not making it are very low.
Sorry to get your hopes up like that. But it's not a simple operation either.

Know what that means?
That's right, good drugs, very good drugs.
Every cloud has a silver lining. Or in this case maybe rainbow or tie-dye lining.

Edit: so they wheeled me in to the OR, then left me sitting on deck for two hours. Then came and told me they ran out of time and surgery is postponed till tomorrow.
No problem, not like I wanted to get this over with or anything. I like hanging in limbo. :/

good luck and good health mate. Meanwhile enjoy the drugs and the ride! We will expect a mission debriefing while you are still intoxicated after it's done.

A beard as magnificent as yours deserves to live forever. If you die like an asshole, I won't forgive you, and will transplant your beard onto my own person for Its glory.

Good luck, mate. See you on the other side.

Don't worry, the beard is immortal. If I pass it will leave me and wander the earth for a time, until it finds another that can sustain it's glory.

i dunno what kind of hospital your at that they would give you rainbow and tie dye drugs, i wanna go there. enjoy the dazed, blurry, happy delirium. hopefully you dont have a lame family that thinks everybody you ever met needs to be there to watch you come down >_>

While the drugs are a definite upside, the madman plunging a knife in my chest kinda balances it out.

My family won't be able to see me until I get out of the recovery ward. Most of the drugs will have worn off by then. But who wouldn't want the chance to see family when they can say anything they want, then blame it on the drugs later. :)

Don't forget to say outrageous things to the staff in the recovery room while you're inebriated. They love it.

There are some outrages things I have wanted to say to some of the hot nurses here, I won't let the opportunity to get away with it pass me by. :)
