Strange that you should think in such dichotomous terms. You've been bamboozled to believe that the only two options are "believe whatever comes out of the political power class" or "believe some random guy's 3 hour youtube video". Incidentally, this type of world view is itself a propaganda technique pushed by the establishment to try to subdue any criticism of their odious actions and mistakes and try to retain intelligent individuals who would rather "choose sides" with the establishment rather than be branded a "conspiracy theorist" lunatic. But why let yourself get used like that?

The obvious resolution is that you should do the work and think for yourself after seeing the best evidence from all sides presented. And above all, we shouldn't be sentimental or refuse or refuse to acknowledge good ideas or evidence just because it doesn't come from our side.

In the U.K. this is what is referred to as bollocks.

You just keep proving my point.

So at this point I'm either being trolled, or I've encountered a person who just finds it more comfortable to submit to the empty promises of power figures rather than take responsibility for his own thoughts. I must admit that I find that way of thinking such a foreign concept lacking in human dignity, so if that is indeed how you truly think about it, "let's agree to disagree".
