God wants us to have faith, so we have a choice. If he healed amputees.

That's called "rationalization." And if God exists, he doesn't need you to rationalize for him.

A religion that was true would encourage skepticism and literally beg you to take the outsider's test. It would beg you to try to reject it, to want to reject your faith and try to not want it to be true, and then see if you're dragged back kicking and screaming because the arguments are so good and the evidence so overwhelming.

It's called "religion," not "science." But since we're on the topic, Buddhism comes to mind. So do certain branches of Hinduism. Did you know you could be a complete atheist and still be Hindu? Belief in any kind of deity is not a requirement.
