has been sentenced to probation and community service, after her lawyer reportedly re-educated her in jail through films and literature.

Lloyd’s conversion of sorts appears to have happened under the influence of books and movies assigned to her by her attorney, H. Heather Shaner. Among them were ‘Schindler’s List’, the PBS documentary ‘Slavery By Another Name’, the History Channel’s ‘Burning Tulsa’ and the books ‘Just Mercy’ and ‘Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee’.

"Your honor, my client watched a Holocaust movie and is now cured!"

"Yay no jail time!"

I think I'd prefer the jailtime to that list. I very much dislike dramas and documentaries that rely on dramatizations to explain history.

I would have sued that lawyer for cruel and unusual punishment

At the very least.

Perhaps there's a possibility of crimes against humanity. Surely, anything that a humanities professor could assign as a review project falls into that category?

I personally would have begun the punishments with hard time.
