My work recently put up a few posters from the health department about getting vaxxed, and they are offering $40 if you can prove you got the shot. My boss asked me what it would take for me to get the shot, as a way of encouraging the crew to get it. I looked her dead in the eyes and said "You would have to put a gun to my head, or one of my children." The shocked looked on her face was fuckin priceless.
I don't want sound like a someone who sits around complaining about how all ads/media have to be "diverse" etc.. but this is probably the first ad I have seen with a white couple in a long time..
Maybe that's because whites are the minority in Baltimore... https://worldpopulationreview.com/us-cities/baltimore-md-population
Reverse Woke?
The only white people I know who live or have lived in Baltimore work for the federal gov, so they are likely vaxxed. Many media reports show that blacks and right-leaning whites are the least likely to get vaxxed, so a city with a lot of federal gov workers would tend to be more left so having an ad with a white couple in a 2/3rds black city is certainly very odd.
She went out with the girls AND cheated on his sorry self.
I'm not anti-vax in general. I'm certainly not taking a rushed 'vaccine' that uses mRNA technology that Moderna has been attempting to get FDA approved for 15 years, yet failed every single set of clinical trials for every product they attempted to bring to market. This is the first product they have ever 'released' and the clinical trials are ongoing through 2023 so yeah...i'm not taking that.
Then go for a different brand.
My advice is to get used to the idea of mRNA vaccines. They are the future because they work better/faster and they can be developed more rapidly than traditional vaccines.
Of course, you'll need to do what you need to do.
Pfizer is using the same sort of technology. J&J never ever brought a vaccine to market before. AstraZenica isn't approved here yet, which is puzzling that the FDA would block them while allowing multiple companies that never produced a vaccine before to bypass clinical trials.
mRNA tech is interesting, hence why Moderna is such an overvalued company right now. It's just that it hasn't been studied enough. We are witnessing the largest clinical study in history and i'm part of the control group by not being injected. I have no confidence in any of the brands out there. In 2-3 years when actual clinical studies are complete then I'll take a look.
It looks more like it should be a poster for a domestic abuse hotline
