I don't think there are many valid reasons to keep it. Society changed from following the sun many decades back. People expect to be able to go out and shop or the movies or other entertainments/pursuits until pretty late and simply changing the clock does not change what they do. That energy will still be expended no matter what. Saying that we get an extra hour somehow is false science. You get what you get because we're tilted and that's how we orbit.

Indeed. Don't mess with the clock for people's convenience; badger your employer for different office hours.
